প্রথমতো আমি মনে করি CA profession এর Success অনেক অংশে Depend করে আপনার firm choice এর উপর, অর্থাৎ আপনার practical learning সম্পূর্ণ অংশ Depends করবে আপনার firm এর উপর আর নিজের learning attitude তো অব্যশই আছে। আর এই practical learning ই হইতো আপনাকে job market এ অন্যদের থেকে আলাদা করবে।এখন আপনার একটা question স্বাভাবিকভাবে মনে উকি দিবে, আমার জন্য কোন firm ভালো হবে।
হ্যাঁ আজ আমি এটা নিয়েই কথা বলবো।
আপনার জেনে রাখা ভালো যে world এর 90% of reputed companies are audited by Big-4 audit firm ( Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, and EY).
এবং They are the major role players in the world economy also.কথা হচ্ছে তারা বাংলাদেশে কেমন রোল play করছে। হ্যাঁ, বাংলাদেশে এখন Big -4 এর সকল firm ই Existing. But আমার দেখা Best Bangladeshi firm হচ্ছে Rahman Rahman Huq ( KPMG member firm).Actually Bangladesh প্রায় 200-250 টা CA firm আছে। এগুলা আবার Bangladesh Bank Ranking অনুযায়ি A, B, C,D.. category করা হয়ে থাকে Based on their quality of service and turnover. যাক এসব কথা।
আমার first suggestion থাকবে আপনি CA Firm Choice এর ক্ষেএে অব্যশই Big- 4 firm Choice করবেন। কারন
♦Bangladesh এর Most of the multinational and Big Group of companies গুলা এরা Audit করে।
♦Big 4 এর প্রতিটি firm প্রায় 150+ countries তে operation, so আপনার abroad job placement এর একটা option তো থেকেই যাই।
♦Big 4 firms এর working Environment, Human resources, and Networking অনেক Strong, যেটা আপনাকে অনেক অংশে Help করবে ভালো Job placement with the highest salary
♦Actually firm এ কাজ করার সাথে সাথে আপনার internal skill developed হয়। আর যে সব Companies গুলা audit করবেন তাদের সাথে একটা Good networking তো অব্যশই গড়ে উঠবে। আর আমারা সবাই জানি Higher Executive post গুলা internally নিয়োগ হয়ে থাকে Maximum ক্ষেএে।
এগুলা তো গেলো আপনার Choice, Firm ও তো তার যোগ্য student টা কে বেছে নিতে একটুও কারপন্য করবে না যে। হ্যাঁ, Big 4 firms গুলা সব সময় খুজে নামি দামি public and private university ভালো talent students গুলা। আর এ জন্য এগুলাতে Entern একটু কষ্টসাধ্য ও বটে।তবে আমি suggest করবো Allowance কম হলেও Reputed firm এ Enter করার জন্য। কারন দিন শেষে আসল খেলাটা আপনাকে Job Market এ খেলতে হবে। তখন হয়তো আপনার Firm reputation is quite fact. এখানে Allowance নিয়ে অনেকের অনেক মত আছে আমার টা আমি বললাম।
আর দিনশেষে যেটি fact, সেটা হচ্ছে are you qualified or not? সারাদিন শেষে ক্লান্ত শ্রান্ত একটা শরীর নিয়ে যদি বলতে পারেন, I am born to be an Chartered Accountant. you are most welcome to this battle filed. In Sha Allah you will win.
Then your son will get a perfect dad, your wife will get a handsome husband and lastly, your parents will get a qualified son who has the right of signature and can issue an opinion on whether a company’s financial statements are presented fairly, in all material respects in accord with the financial reporting framework.
Forget about beards, Six packs, and good looks.
